Training for LGBTU allies Groups, Peer Mentors and Student Councils
More in depth LGBT Awareness & Challenging Homo/Bi/Transphobia training for students that have a role in the school of supporting or advocating for other students. Ongoing advice and support available from Allsorts staff.
One-to-One support for students affected by LGBT issues
Ad-hoc and needs led support and advocacy for students whose lives and school life are being affected by LGBT Issues (e.g. they are being bullied because they have LGBT parents or siblings). Provided by trained and experienced Youth Support Workers from Allsorts Youth Project. Sessions can be held in school during school hours or at the Young People’s Centre after school hours.
