Anti-Victimisation Unit
Report homophobic attacks, verbal abuse etc. to the Liaison Officer
for the LGBT community, who is a civilian member of a specialist
police unit dealing with homophobic, racist and domestic violence.

Brighton lesbian and gay switchboard
Open everyday from 5pm to 11pm, offering a friendly ear and keeping
people in touch, whatever the need. The operators can also give
you some information regarding Allsorts and can act as a referal
service to Allsorts.

Counselling for lesbians and gay men at Switchboard
The Counselling project offers short term, focused counselling to
individuals and couples, working on an agreed issue/are for a maximum
of 12 sessions. For more information you can either call Switchboard
(01273 204050, open daily 5pm - 11pm, voice and
minicom) and ask the operator for a referral form. Once you have
returned this to us, a counsellor will contact you to arrange an
initial session within our central Brighton counselling rooms. Contacting
the counselling project coordinator (or leave a message) asking
