Allsorts Halloween Party – October 2014
This was Allsorts’ 3rd Halloween party and I have to say it went very well.
There was a few problems with the music but that did not matter much as the room was decorated with cobwebs, light up ghosts, witches, spiders, and lots more spooky decorations to make the party Spooktacular. We had corn dogs to eat cooked by our lovely volunteers and for entertainment we had karaoke where I got up and sang my cover of Brown Eyes by Lady Gaga, along with lots of other people getting up to sing which was lovely to watch to see how much talent we have here at Allsorts.
Allsorts Winter Party – December 2014
Allsorts’ 3rd Winter party went festively very well.
The room was decorated with tinsel, lights and a Christmas tree which made the room look very festive. We had lots of party food and drink like Pizzas, chocolate brownies, crisps, grapes, Mince pies, and two young people where one made some Christmas tree biscuits and they were delicious and another made a lovely victoria Christmas cake and that too was lovely. We had a lot of young people taking part in the arts and crafts part of the party, with young people making decorations and Christmas cards including one I got given by one of my lovely friends.
Both parties were a great success and well worth all the hard work to get organised and do. Everyone had a lot of fun and, to me, making them happy and having fun is what matters the most when I help to organise these parties.
